When I registered for college the administration convinced me that living in the dorms would be the best decision I would ever make. They lied. They told me that I would love having a roommate, I don't. They said that the bathroom situation was never an issue, it is. They said that dorms were quiet, their not. Etc, etc, etc.
This is Sechrist. My own personal hell.
As you can probably tell, I don't like it. Let me explain the situation.
The room:
-2 people in a 10' x 10' room.
If one person is dirty, it ruins your entire life. Meaning, to get to your half of the room you have to wade knee deep through their dirty clothes, trash, and whatever else they don't pick up. It kinda sucks.
Here is the ideal room:
Yay! Look how nice that is!
Here is my room:
Also, during this whole room sharing experience eventually you WILL be forced out of your room because of 1. too much noise for studying/homework 2. your roommate is having sex with her boyfriend, ew. 3. their making out in bed and its too disgusting to sit at your desk and listen to, more ew.
Update: I finally moved out of that place and now I'm in a new dorm with a new roommate :) YAY!
The bathroom:
The bathroom:
6 shower stalls and 4 toilets... for 70 girls.
Some fun math for ya'!
Obviously, people party in college...
Obviously, people party in college...
Party= Drinking= Vomiting= Vomiting in toilet 70 other girls' asses touch. Yum.
Bathroom problems:
There is a line
Or unflushed toilets
Or, most recently, the door lock broke and we cant get in the bathroom.
And thats how I'm currently living... paying $550 a month...for the past 8 months.. I KNOW you're jealous.
